Racking Up Freebie Points
As I search in vain for a credit card to suit my financial situation, I have discovered some card features that would may prove to save me a lot of money and reward me in the future. I had not realised how beneficial rewards programs can be especially when points can be exchanged for flights between states. I am in the market for new low interest credit cards and have a few at the top of my list including the Westpac Credit Cards and the Citibank Credit Cards. They both have the features i'm after as well as a rewards program but I haven't looked in to their interest rates yet which could be higher than i'm willing to pay. My financial advisor is sure to have a word with me about jumping in and applying before investigating all the possibilities, as I have done a similar thing in the past and ended up with credit card debt.
My plan is to lodge a credit card application this week so I will hopefully receive my card next week and start earning points as soon as possible. If I can manage to get the best credit cards with plentiful interest free days then I will be able to pay of the entire balance on my cards without a single dollar of interest. They would almost become interest free credit cards if I can manage to avoid interest payments. I will have to set up a budget and keep a watch on my spending to ensure I don't miss any repayments before the interest free days end. Interest free credit cards! Who would have thought!
